The predominate Law I need to align with…
There are various versions in circulation of the Universal Laws. Here are the seven Universal Laws that I have learned and a quick explanation of each:
1. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation
• Energy moves into physical form. Energy is waves moving into particles.
• The images you hold most often in your mind must and do materialize as the circumstances of your life.
2. The Law of Relativity
• Nothing is good or bad, big or small ... until you RELATE it to something.
• Practice relating your situation to something much worse and yours will always look good.
3. The Law of Vibration and Attraction
• Everything vibrates, nothing rests.
• Conscious awareness of vibration is called feeling. Your thoughts control your paradigms and your vibration (which dictates what you attract).
4. The Law of Polarity
• Everything has an opposite: Hot — Cold ... Up — Down ... Good — Bad.
• We cannot know one without the other.
5. The Law of Rhythm
• The tide goes out ... night follows day ... there are good times and bad times.
• When you are on a down swing, do not feel bad. Know the swing will change and things will get better. There are good times coming—think of them.
6. The Law of Cause and Effect
• Whatever you send into the Universe comes back. Action—re-action are equal and opposite.
• Say good things to everyone; treat everyone with total respect and it will all come back. Never worry about what you are going to get, just concentrate on what you can give.
7. The Law of Gender
• Every seed has a gestation or incubation period. Ideas are seeds of energy (literally) and will move into form or physical results. Your goals will manifest when the time is right. Know they will.
This list has no particular order. All Laws are connected. There is much much more to discuss about each Law. That’s another blog post. I want to name one more Universal Law. It this first and primary law arching over these major seven.
If you are a scientist this Law states: Energy is. If you are a theologian it states: God is. Neither energy nor God is created or destroyed. It always has been, is now, and always will be. That is the first and primary Universal Law.
What is important about Universal Laws? Think of them as Universal Truths meaning…
…no matter WHERE you find yourself, or in what TIME you find yourself in your life, these Laws will always be TRUE. They cannot be manipulated. They are impartial. They play no favourites.
We do not have to believe them or align with them. We have that choice. We cannot, however, escape the consequences of not aligning with any Law. This is the Law of Cause & Effect. We are always causing something, an effect to manifest in our life. Choosing not to align with a Law will have an effect. The Law of Gender says that effect will manifest when it’s meant to.
We can always trace an effect (a situation of our life), positive or negative, back to a choice we made (the cause). It may have been minutes ago or years ago. The connection is there. It tells us which of the Universal Laws is at work more prevalently in our life. This is true for the highs and lows of our life.
I know this is true. I’ve just experienced it.
Four years ago I made a decision. That decision lead to some very particular changes to the four dimensions of my life: vocation, leisure, relationships, health (psychological, emotional, spiritual and physical health).
I was aware what was happening. I was aware I was feeling an effect. I took steps to manage the effect. I made changes. And still…I could not bend the Law of Rhythm. At the time I didn’t listen, didn’t align myself with this Law. Had I been more attuned to the Law of Rhythm working in my life, I would have made better decisions (a cause) that would have lead to different effects (the situations of my life) manifesting for me. I was not attuned to it and it continued to do what a Law does: operate impartially by its set of rules…until what is out of tune, comes back to harmony.
Take a flower that pokes out from the snow slightly early in the spring. It will not survive the last frost before spring truly arrives. Nature didn’t dislike that flower. It was too early to bloom. Its consequence was being exposed to frost.
I was exposed to a number of life situations (due to my choice in 2019) that required lots of energy and life force from me. It created a heavy life rhythm that I tried to ignore. I tried to carry on as usual. A Law will not be bent or changed. We will be bent and changed by the Law.
Or die…figuratively and literally.
And so I am paying attention to the rhythm I am in. The Law of Rhythm states that there will always be the exact proportionate opposite reaction. The pendulum swings one way and must swing back the other way in precise proportion.
I can feel it. The swing back.
